This 21 sq. meters (225 sq. feet) air-conditioned, quiet and light studio apartment is on the 6th and last floor of an elegant stone apartment building constructed in 1904 and equipped with an elevator. It is situated in the historic Marais District of central Paris and is in close proximity to the Filles du Calvaire Metro station and bus stop, and to the Place de la République which gives access to a large variety of Metro and bus lines and a taxi rank.

The Picasso Museum is in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, and the Pompidou Modern Arts Museum and the Place des Vosges are fifteen minutes' walk away. Notre Dame Cathedral, City Hall, Bastille, the Seine River and the Latin Quarter/Left Bank are 20-30 minutes' walk from the apartment. A lively market street, Rue de Bretagne, is a 5-minute walk from the apartment, with a large variety of pastry-boulangeries, butcheries, a fish shop, wine shops, florists, chemists, supermarkets, popular side-walk cafes and a small floral park (Square du Temple). The neighborhood is considered to be very safe for walking, day and night, and boasts many quality restaurants.

The studio apartment consists of two rooms with an open archway between them which can be curtained off at night to create two separate sleeping areas if desired, each with a separate window, plus a separate bathroom/WC with an additional window. Sleeping accommodation includes a comfortable fold-out double sofa-bed, and a folding single bed (on request). The living area is fitted with a tiled bench, a glass-doored kitchen cabinet, clothes washer, refrigerator/freezer, dish-washer, oven-grill, microwave oven, 2-plate electric range, toaster, juicer, electric kettle, coffee machine, and all necessary cooking/dining accessories, plus a dining table and 3 chairs. The bathroom has a large shower-stall, wash-basin, lighted mirrors, cabinet and W-C. The floors are in solid oak-wood parquet in the living area and ceramic tiling in the bathroom/W-C and kitchen area.
