The 16th arrondissement is a very chic place to live with its fine late 19th century stone apartment buildings, elegant ironwork and well-proportioned rooms. Our apartment is no exception! Located on a quiet side street with a concierge, you’re just minutes from a variety of food shops just around the corner. The Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elyseés are about a 10 minute walk, and the nearby metro line takes you to the Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Palais Royal, Marais and the Bastille Opera, all within 15 minutes.
The Franco-American owners' taste is reflected in the elegant decoration and antique furnishings, and the apartment has featured in a design magazine. The spacious apartment measures approximately 1,485 square feet, offers plenty of natural light and is carpeted throughout.
There is a large living/dining room with fine arched windows overlooking the street, marble fireplace (not in use), comfortable sofas, antiques and dining furniture. The country style eat-in kitchen is very well equipped and includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and shares an ensuite shower room with the third bedroom which has a single bed. The bathroom has a tub and shower attachment with a separate WC. Initial linen supplied. Electric heating. Maid service on request. Plenty of closet space (though some is reserved for owners).
