The stone wall and fine staircase in the entrance are particularly attractive. This apartment has a great location, just off the elegant Rue de Rivoli and over the road from the Hotel de Ville - the splendid Paris town hall. Within easy walking distance you have the Pompidou Centre, the Louvre, the Ile de la Cité , Ile St Louis, Notre Dame, Conciergerie, Left Bank, and the Marais. When your legs can take no more, or for excursions further afield, the metro line is a minute away, direct for the Champs Elysées, Bastille Opéra and much more.
The apartment has been ingeniously designed to make the maximum use of its 325 sq. feet. Light and airy with pleasant contemporary furniture, this is a great place to relax after a hard day's sightseeing. Because it overlooks a courtyard and the windows are double glazed, the apartment is protected from any street noise. Once inside, there is a sitting room with parquet floor, sofa and TV. The dining/kitchen area is very nice and well-equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave (no classic oven). There is also an excellent modern bathroom with tub and WC. A rather steep flight of stairs (unsuitable for small children) leads to the mezzanine level where the bedroom containing a double bed can be found.
