Spiti Valia lies at the very center of the small but cosmopolitan village of Naoussa, whee the heart of the island is beating. The fishing port, where all the shop, restaurants and bars can be found, is within a two-minute walk from the house. There is a regular "kaiki" boat service to some of the best beaches of the island (Kolympithres, Monatstiri, Santa Maria). All the other beahces and attractions of Paros are easily accessible by car (longest distance is no more than 30 min. drive from Naoussa).
Although very close to the center of Naoussa, famed for its nightlife, the house offers complete privacy thanks to its three different semi-private entrances (dead-end lanes). The house was built 300 years ago, during the Venetian occupation of the island and was reconstructed in 1992, with full respect to the traditional Cycladic architecture (thick stone walls, plastered and painted in white, many arches, blue doors and windows, not quite "even" lines and angles).
What makes this house unique is its marvelous spacious garden (400 sq. mts. or approx. 4,000 sq. ft) when no other house in the village has a garden at all. It also features a swimming pool, giving the chance to swim far from the crowd during high season. Guests can also enjoy a drink poolside while enjoying the night views of Naoussa from the terrace.
