Villa Lugarna is situated near Menaggio and has a wonderful view on the lake and on the Valtellina mountains. This mansion is an “English Isle” among the lake buildings, since its architectural style, furniture and its gardens have a typical old English look.

This villa has one of the most beautiful gardens in Como, which not only includes artificial waterfalls, but also caves and small pounds, that were designed to recreate different natural environments.

The villa has three levels on which there are many prestigious rooms such as libraries, dining rooms and large kitchens.

Situated near Menaggio, a few meters away from Lombardia, the Villa has a beautiful view on the lake and on the surrounding mountains.

The interior takes inspiration from the classic English style. In the park there are a little tea house, a playhouse on a secular tree, a little pond and a walking path.

Villa Lugarna was built in 1910 near the eighteen-hole golf course designed by the engineer Carlo Mantegazza by commission of a rich English gentleman, Mr. Alfred Wyatt.
