Piazza Navona is surely one of the most beautifully baroque sites in all of Rome -- an ocher-colored gem, unspoiled by new buildings or even by traffic. In 1644 Bernini and Borromini constructed the colossal Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, symbolizing the four corners of the world: the Danube (Europe), the Nile (Africa), the Ganges (Asia), and the Rio de la Plata (America).
This building is a splendid restored 14th century style dwelling. The entrance is an open bright courtyard surrounded by white marble columns with a pending old lantern.
This charming apartment is on the second floor (no elevator). It is elegantly and tastefully furnished. Its wood-beamed ceiling and authentic parquet floor complete its appealing beauty and charming. There is a warm bright living room with 2 white sofas and an olive wood secretaire. There is a built-in library overlooking the living room connected by a few steps. The kitchenette is fully equipped and has a two-seat dining table.
Off a small corridor, there is a bright bedroom with a queen-size bed, an arm chair, a wardrobe and a small secretaire. The bathroom has a bath tub with shower and it is tiled with white ceramics.
