The shops found in this area are often housed in Medieval or Renaissance buildings. In the narrow old streets, you will see furniture restorers and various artisans performing their craft in the open air, gifts, clothes, antique shops, wine bars and ice cream parlors. There are also a number of very nice restaurants and pizzerias nearby. The area is well served by public transportation as many different bus lines stop at Largo Argentina, which is only three blocks from the apartment building.

Cinque Colori is a 5 story elevator building which among its many dwellings contains five apartments that are available for rental. They are named the Blue Apartment, Green Apartment, Red Apartment, Yellow Apartment and Pink Apartment because of the predominant color scheme used within each. All apartments can sleep up to six people, with the Blue, Green, Red and Pink apartments having two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the Yellow apartment (which is a penthouse) having three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All of the apartments have been recently refurbished and have double-paned windows with direct views of the Via dei Giubbonari. In addition, they each have independent heating, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. All of the apartments have their original Middle Age wooden beamed "cassettone" ceilings and "cotto" flooring, and they are nicely furnished as well.

The charming master bedroom has a queen bed, a wardrobe and storage space as well as an en-suite bathroom with bathtub (with shower stall) and washing machine. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a wooden wardrobe, and the second bathroom contains a large shower.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and a large wardrobe, and it is quiet because the bedroom faces an inner courtyard. There is also an en-suite bathroom with a window and a large shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds which can be joined together to form a queen bed (upon request). From one of the two windows, there is a view of the dome of the San Carlo ai Catinari church.
