The apartment is on the south of the Spanish Steps, just a few steps from Via Veneto; this street, which bends north from here up to the southern edge of the Borghese gardens, is one of the most important commercial streets in Rome. The pricey bars and restaurants lining the street were once the haunt of Rome's Beautiful People, made famous by Fellini's La Dolce Vita. Retrace your steps back to Piazza Barberini and push up on Via delle Quattro Fontane. On the other side of the road, the Palazzo Barberini is home to the Galleria di Arte Antica. It displays a rich patchwork of mainly Italian art from the Renaissance to late Baroque period in the palace's converted rooms.

The apartment has two big colour TVs, telephone, and a computer with an ADSL line (internet use is charged at 50 Euros per stay).
