The island of Ischia is one of the pearls of the Mediterranean, an international tourism destination known for its beauty, climate and its beneficent spas. Here, one can easily combine a carefree vacation with a detoxifying body cure, thanks to the thermal pools at Forio, Lacco, Ameno and at S. Angelo, where the Roman thermal baths of Cava Scura are still open. Frequent transportation to Naples and Pozzuoli on the continent is available via hydrofoil and ferry; the crossing takes about an hour. Forio 1 and 2 are two annexes of Villa Adriana, located beside the villa in a garden of lemon and olive trees. They are accessable from the villa’s main entrance, and guest parking is available. The villa itself located on the seafront of Forio, a popular spot which attracts both local fishermen and pleasure boats. A public beach lies in front of the villa and within 300 meters are various shops, restaurants, bars and a bank. Forio 1: This 720 square foot, ground floor apartment contains a living room with sofabed, a kitchenette, 2 double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. A long terrace connects the sleeping quarters with the living quarters. Maximum Occupancy: 7 persons Forio 2: This 900 square foot duplex offers a living room and dining room on the ground floor (containing both a single bed and a sofabed), a kitchen, and access to the lawn and gardens. On the first floor is a double bedroom leading out onto a beautiful terrace and another bedroom with two twin beds, a rollaway bed, and access to the terrace. Maximum Occupancy: 7 persons |
