As you go up the road from Massa Lubrense towards Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, you come across a small road leading to one of the many countless tiny villages dotted along the Sorrento Coast. The road ends right there, in Santa Maria Annunziata, indicated on a hiking map as one of the most beautiful views on the whole of the coast. There are just a few houses, a little piazza, a church, a convent and a wonderful restaurant - which is quite enough for a holiday immersed in one of the most authentic parts of the peninsula, far from the crowded areas. And right in this little piazza you will find an old building with these two delightful apartments. Casa del Sole has been recently renovated with an eye to preserving the characteristics of the old building and has been furnished carefully with attention to the fine details. The apartments are on the first and second floors of the property, each with its own terrace where you can enjoy the view of Capri lapped by a deep-blue sea, a panorama that I would even dare to declare as worthy of a picture postcard. Santa Maria Annunziata is just 2.5 kms from Massa Lubrense where you can find all kinds of services: food shops, banks, bars and several restaurants. Sorrento is 10 kms away, and the easiest beach to get to is at Marina del Cantone, beyond Nerano.
