Torre Etrusca

This tower rises up from a position right over the sea in the nature reserve in the Maremma about 7 kms from the village of Talamone and 3 kms from Fonteblanda, where you will find all the services you might need. It lies in a very panoramic and tranquil position, overlooking the bay of Talamone and with a view stretching out as far as the promotory of Argentario. It has its own path down to the sea with a furnished sunbathing platform, that can be reached via a short flight of steps carved into the rock. At the foot of the tower they have made two terraces; in the first terrace they have placed a large Jacuzzi, which has a beautiful view, and in the second, surrounded by vegetation, they have created a belvedere for enjoying the view, with sofas and chairs for taking the sun. Torre Etrusca is on two floors: on the top floor you will find the large salon with extensive panoramic windows, and direct access to the terrace that dominates the bay. The furnishings are sober and very refined, in tune with the ancient spanish structure, built to stem the incursions by the saracens. It is equipped with all the best creature comforts, such as satellite-TV, stereo with CD player, telephone with internet access. From the villa you can take many interesting trips both into the Maremma with its villages and landscapes that have hardly changed, or to the more famous bathing areas. Porto Santo Stefano is about 15 kms away. We should also mention the excellent maremman cuisine and its wines that can be enjoyed in the many restaurants in the area.

GROUND FLOOR: going into the entrance hall on the left you come to the kitchen with dishwasher and oven, on our right a small room with a dining corner and fireplace, along with two twin bedrooms with bathroom, one with shower and the other with bath-tub, then at the end of the corridor the third twin bedroom with bathroom with bath-tub and shower.

FIRST FLOOR: from the corridor on the first floor, up some stairs you come to a large salon with air-conditioning and fireplace, and from here you can admire a 180° view with sofas and chairs on one side and on the other a dining area with separate kitchenette. From the salon you access a large terrace, furnished with an outside dining area and relaxation zones, overlooking the sea with a view from the promontory of Argentario as far as Talamone.

RAISED FLOOR: if you go through the small room on the ground floor and go up a brief flight of stairs, you come to the old watch tower, where they have made a double bedroom with fireplace with dressing-room and small bathroom with shower. All of the rooms have a panoramic view, have mosquito netting at the windows and there are ceiling-fans in the bedrooms on the ground floor. External jacuzzi and private path down to the sea.
