| Villa Iacono -- The villa lies on the Amalfi side of the Sorrento peninsula, opposite the little Li Galli islands and the splendid panorama of the gulf of Salerno which continues as far as Capo Palinuro. Villa Iacono opens out towards the panorama following its own circular shapes and making the villa and garden an integral part of the landscape. You reach the property via a side road that joins the main Meta-Amalfi road, which connects Sorrento to Positano, and is about 7 kms from both towns. The design of the villa, which is on two terraced floors, follows a rounded form and combines the outside spaces, terrace and garden, with the internal ones, which are full of light, and are furnished with valuable napoletan furniture from the 1800s, part of which is the beautiful billiard table. The house has every modern convenience: dishwasher, washing machine, telephone, satellite TV, air-conditioning in the bedrooms and guests also have the benefit of cleaning service of three hours a day, two days a week. Villa Iacono is close to small villages where you will find general food shops and typical restaurants serving local dishes and is an excellent starting point for trips to the whole of the Amalfi Coast, to Naples and to Paestum. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms.
