Its position allows you to live the local life to the full, and Amalfi is a town rich in history, art and local traditions and living in the old town centre is a completely different experience from visiting Amalfi as a day tourist! Its history along with its more interesting aspects, and its most attractive corners can only be found by living in the heart of the town, which is full of hidden alleyways and little piazzas enriched by its little "salons" the bars, along with the beerhouses, the seafront, the theatre and a large variety of restaurants, each one known for its particular specialities. La Riva is an apartment lying just a short walk from the beach and is ideal for those who like living right by the sea. It has been recently renovated and has been furnished with taste in typical Amalfi style with Vietri ceramics and has been equipped with all modern comforts: air-conditioning, washing-machine, and a balcony with a view of the sea furnished for dining outside. The beach is just 30 metres away. A car is definitely not essential here as Amalfi is well served by public transport. Ravello is 7 kms away, and Positano 17 kms. On request a private pay car parking space can be organized.
