The apartment called Paradiso is in a residential area that is completely enclosed and watched by a warden, lying above Positano, which is 1 km away. Guests have a large swimming-pool for their use, shared with the residents of the complex. The apartment is full of light and very comfortable, and has an independent entrance from one of the typical local lanes. It is equipped with washing-machine, TV and private parking. The terrace, which has a beautiful panorama, is well-furnished with table, chairs, deck-chairs and a barbecue and is suitable both for sun-bathing or for dining outside. Positano can easily be reached using the useful bus service that stops right outside the entrance gate and takes you straight into the centre of the town, and from there you go on foot all the way down to the beach. The lane that leads to the residence carries on, with fantastic views, up to the little village of Monte Pertuso, where you will find some nice restaurants and from there several walking paths start up into the hills that border the Amalfi Coast. Sorrento is about 20 kms away, Amalfi 15 kms and Naples 55 kms. In the summer season hydrofoil ferries leave Positano for Capri and Amalfi, and from the harbour in Sorrento there is an all-year-round service for Capri, Naples and Ischia.
