| The apartment lies in a small residential area on the promontory of Punta Caruso, about 3 kms from the village of Forio. It lies in a very tranquil and panoramic spot, with a view taking in the beaches of San Francesco and Chiaia and of the sea as far as the horizon, with beautiful, typical mediterranean vegetation all around. Il Pitosforo is on two floors, and has a nice panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. It is furnished with high-quality pieces, and equipped with dishwasher, washing-machine and air-conditioning in the living-room and in the bedroom on the first floor. You can use the swimming-pool shared with other residents that lies in the central part of the grounds. Forio d'Ischia is a lively village with all the necessary services,and there you will also find several excellent restaurants. To go to Naples there are ferries that can also take your car, both from Ischia harbour and from Casamicciola, or you can take the hydrofoil, which crosses the bay of Naples in forty minutes. You walk to the sea down a flight of about 130 steps below the house, and the beaches of San Francesco and Chia can be reached in about ten minutes by car.
