| The apartment lies in the old city centre of Florence about 100 metres from Piazza Santissima Annunziata and ten minutes on foot from the piazza del Duomo (Florence Cathedral). This is the top-floor flat of a prestigious palazzo built at the beginning of the 1800s and besides being attractive and furnished with very good quality furniture, it has the rare merit of having a terrace with a beautiful view over the roofs of the old city centre, of Brunelleschi's dome of the cathedral, the bell-towers of the florentine churches, of the hills round Florence and the famous Piazzale Michelangelo. It is equipped with air-conditioning in the bedroom, heating, satellite-TV and washing-machine, and access to the fourth floor is made easier by a lift that takes you to the third floor, and from there you go up about 10 steps to the entrance to the apartment. The position of Terrazzino means that you can leave your car on the nearby "viali di circonvallazione" (the city centre by-pass roads) or in one of the pay car-parks close by. It is definitely the ideal place to visit the art treasures of Florence, and at the same time suitable for using the car.
