Description:

Manor Barn is situated in the corner of a five acre meadow just 100 metres from the cliff top. It has outstanding views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Built over 150 years ago of brick and flint it has been converted to provide a spacious and luxurious accommodation. The owner's private stepped access to the quiet sandy beach can be reached across the meadow. Alternatively, half a mile away, a concrete slope takes you down to Overstrand beach. Sidestrand and neighbouring Overstrand are set in the heart of Poppyland immortalised in the writings of Clement Scott. The quintessential English seaside resort of Overstrand provides local amenities including a well stocked village store, a three star hotel with restaurant and bar, public house and cliff top cafe. Freshly caught crabs and fish are available - perfect for simple, but delectable dinners. Nearby areas of interest include National Trust properties Felbrigg and Blickling Halls which as well as being fantastic historical places to visit, host outdoor concerts and other events. North Norfolk is renowned for its outdoor pursuits and accommodates the desires of anyone from the gentle rambler to the extreme sports enthusiast.

Accommodation:

The accommodation comprises 5 bedrooms, one of which with twin beds is on the ground floor. Two of the upstairs bedrooms are double with 5' beds and have en suite shower rooms. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor and a wetroom adjacent to the downstairs bedroom. The 2 remaining bedrooms overlook the sea and are twin bedded, one of which can convert to a large double. The large west window floods evening sunlight into the galleried hall and dining area. The sitting room has a panoramic view of the sea through french doors that open onto a lawned garden. The farmhouse kitchen at the south end has oak units and a large breakfast table. French doors open from the kitchen onto the sunny, generous-sized walled courtyard - great for barbecues. In addition there is a lockable shed for securing bicycles. Next to the kitchen is a handy utility room - ideal for storing coats and wellington boots.
