Description: The Nurseries is a 17th century Grade II listed semi-detached stone crofters cottage in a quiet position on the side of a steep hill just below Curbar Edge in the Peak District National Park. There are superb views from the walled garden and many well signed walks for all abilities. In the village there is a small shop, craft centre, trekking centre, superb cafe and pub (half a mile walk back up the hill, not for the faint-hearted). Guests will be spoilt for choice for excursions, with Chatsworth House and Estate in the next village 5 minutes away, Bakewell 10 minutes, Haddon Hall 15 minutes, the historic plague village of Eyam 10 minutes, and the caves at Castleton 20 minutes.
