Tynycornel Cottage is a 300 year old recently refurbished detached stone cottage lying in a secluded valley in the Snowdonia National Park between Aberdyfi and Dolgellau. The property is set on its own at the end of a tarmac drive on a small country estate 3 miles from the coast at Tywyn. It is on the same estate as Gamekeepers Cottage and can be booked together to provide accommodation for 10 guests.

Guests will have a wide choice of things to do and see in the area. For those not wanting to travel very far there is a tennis court in the grounds of the estate and 2 fly fishing rods are available free of charge on the River Dysynni. The narrow gauge Tal-y-llyn railway runs close by. Not to be missed is the Centre for Alternative Technology 8 miles away towards Machynlleth. For a glorious sandy beach head for Aberdyfi, 15 minutes away. Aberdyfi has an excellent links golf course and the award winning pub, The Penhelig Arms. Further afield are Harlech Castle and Portmeirion.
