| Surrounded by the hills of Chianti and located a few kilometers from Florence, "Paluffo" will enchant you with its peaceful and relaxing atmoshpere. You will be welcome guests to several houses, which were originally built in the 15th century and were tastefully restored in 2010. The walls of the houses are made of stone, river pebbles and bricks. Floors are made of terracotta with handmade bricks in keeping with the Florentine tradition. Rooms have been decorated with a combination of antique furniture and modern Italian design. The swimming pool is completely natural, using the natural regenerative power of aquatic plants for its maintenance, as opposed to chlorine or other chemicals.
Paluffo features four independent houses, each complete with their own private garden. The houses are called Forno, Frantoio, Stillo, and Torre. The estate includes an 18th century mill, a millstone, an olive press, a fermentation room which was used in the past for the production of wine, a wine cellar that was dug into the tufa rock, a bread oven and two wells. The fermentation room and wine cellar are now considered common spaces, and as such are the the guest's disposal. There is also a laundry area that is available to guests. Paluffo is surrounded by six (6) hectacres of land on which olive trees and Chianti grapes are cultivated.

- Forno - Sleeps 4 -Two-bedroom, two-bathroom. It derives its name from the ancient oven located next to it, which was once used to bake the bread for the whole village. It is still functioning today and is used to bake pizzas. This house features a double kitchen (with cooking and washing areas), a living room with a fireplace and two bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. - Frantoio - Sleeps 6 - Three-bedroom, two-bathroom. Located on top of the ancient olive oil mill, Frantoio house features a spacious living room with dining room and a gallery to be used as a studio, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big kitchen, a walk-in closet and a small private garden. - Stillo - Sleeps 4/5 - Two-bedroom, two-bathroom. Formerly used as a stable and parking area for carriages, Stillo house is composed of a living room with a fireplace, kitchen, one double bedroom with a gallery to be used as a studio, one double bedroom where there is an interesting trap door leading to a private cellar, and two bathrooms. - Torre - Sleeps 6/7 - Three-bedroom plus studio, three-bathroom. Torre house, built around the medieval tower of Paluffo, is the oldest part of the estate. This house is built on three levels and features a private garden and a marvelous view of the Chianti hills and San Gimignano. On the ground floor there is a living room with a fireplace, bathroom, and dining room with kitchen. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a private bathroom as well as a studio with a sofa-bed. On the second floor there are two double bedrooms with a bathroom. See photos of the house.
