Description: Little Gains Cottage is a Grade II listed 16th century Tudor detached cottage situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Cottage has been lovingly restored and is immaculate throughout. The Cottage can be found at the end of a no-through road in the charming Kentish hamlet of Elmsted, just 7 miles from the historical city of Canterbury. Little Gains enjoys a secluded spot which is surrounded by woodland and open rolling fields. The garden is just over an acre and is an ideal area to play, relax and enjoy the wildlife. There are some great local pubs serving delicious food and Kentish ales. There is a village shop, not more than a couple of minutes' drive away. The slightly larger village of Wye is approximately 5 miles away, towards the town of Ashford. For sporting guests, you will find the following activities in the surrounding area: trout fishing, horse riding, golf, tennis, cricket (Canterbury), nearby beaches at Camber Sands and Sandgate and walking on the Downs. Trips from the cottage could also include Dover and Leeds Castles, Canterbury Cathedral, Whitstable Bay, Howletts and Port Lympne Zoos, Bluewater Shopping Centre or perhaps a day return to Calais (just 35 minutes from Dover by hovercraft).Accommodation: Ground floor: Large farmhouse fully fitted kitchen with ample dining for 6 guests, formal dining room for 8 guests, sitting room with open fire, study/snug with TV/DVD, cloakroom with WC.
