Description: In association with Trinity House, we are pleased to present Valonia Cottage and The Link former lighthouse keeper's cottages. The original Cromer Lighthouse was built in 1680 but the present lighthouse, a white octagonal tower, was built in 1833 and converted to automatic operation in 1990. This lighthouse does not have a fog signal. Valonia Cottage and The Link are 1 mile from the traditional North Norfolk town of Cromer. A 10 minute stroll along the coastal path will take you into town where you can explore shops, pubs and sample local seafood. Cromer is a popular destination for families and has a sandy beach, pier and excellent crab sandwiches. Only 500 yards from the cottage are steep steps to a sandy beach below. Valonia and The Link are a perfect retreat for keen golfers. The property is adjacent to The Royal Cromer 18-hole golf course where non-members with a handicap are welcome.Accommodation: Accommodation for 6 guests - maximum 4 adults.
